I know this question has been asked but all the answers I see apply to different states. Does anyone know if Mortgages and Liens other than the Taxes are considered void after the purchase of a Tax Deed in Alabama?

I tried finding information on the internet but it was vague at best. It did say that Tax deed are issued without warranty, then goes on to say the purchaser should verify whether there are any leins or encumberances on the property.
I'm willing to bet that 100% of the states tax sales do not void local, state, or federal taxes
You will need to call one o the county courthouses or ask an attorney who specializes in real estate in alabama. That is the best way to get the right answer.
